  • Learned designing footprints, symbols, libraries, schematics, layouts, silkscreen, trace routing.
  • Calced min trace widths. Generated Gerbers, sent to fab. I assembled and tested it in our lab.
  • Then integrated the PCB into our rover with the other MechE's.
  • I did screw up the MicroSD footprint. Rest assured some jumper wire did the trick...
  • Designed a through hole PCB in EAGLE, sent to fab house, then assembled in house.
  • Controlled all electrical functions including sensing, locomotion, and power delivery for our rover.
  • Rover was part of the Battle of the Rockets collegiate competition. The mission was to launch a rover to 1,000ft, safely eject, recover, and perform ground objectives.
  • The board included a Teensy 3.2, an ADXL377 accelerometer, an MPL3115A2 altimeter, Pololu stepper controllers, and an XBEE radio.
