- Worked on a team of 4 to develop an educational museum exhibit to teach kids about sustainable transportation.
- Designed tracks in AutoCAD and CNCed front panel for the user to move a 3D printed knob around a map of the U.S.
- Designed the panel graphics and GUI in Illustrator.
- Designed the 3D printed tiles and knob in Fusion360.
- Embedded RFID into 3D printed tiles for users to select their form of transportation.
- Used LEDs and photoresistors to detect the location that the user moved the knob to.
- Used Arduino interfacing with a laptop running a Processing program to display/change the GUI based on the form of transport and the location the user moved to.
- Our exhibit was put on display at the Museum of Science in Boston, MA where kids got to interact with our exhibit.
- We proudly made this exhibit for less than $60...by using wood from a nearby construction site. 😂
